Joint Deal for Season Pass Holders 7 Aug 2000

Treble Cone and Turoa Announce Joint Deal for Season Pass Holders.

In a deal announced today, Treble Cone Ski Area and Turoa Ski Resort are offering a reciprocal deal to each other’s season pass holders for the rest of the season. From today, Treble Cone and Turoa season pass holders will qualify for a $20 discount when purchasing an adult day pass at the other’s mountain ticket office on presentation of their season pass. Discounts will also be available for student and child season pass holders.

Marketing Manager of Treble Cone, Hetty Van Hale, said she was delighted Turoa had agreed to the deal. "It is great to be able to offer our season pass holders the added value of a discount to ski or board at Turoa," she said.

" Many of our season pass holders are North Islanders who are resident in Wanaka for the season. When they leave Wanaka at the end of the season, many of them still want to ride in the North Island, as the season there is generally longer. Now they will be able to enjoy an extra few days at Turoa at a very attractive price," she said.

"Similarly, we are delighted that we are able to offer an extra incentive to Turoa season pass holders to come and ski Treble Cone if they are down in the South Island on holiday," Ms Van Hale said.

Treble Cone already has similar deals in place with Ohau, where Treble Cone season pass holders qualify for a 20% discount off the price of a day’s lift pass, and with Porter Heights, where student season pass holders can access a $15 discount off the price of a day pass.
